SuperhotGeo ("we," "us") operates the website superhotgeo.com and the SuperhotGeo mobile application (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you join the network, contribute a project, list a capability, apply to the marketplace, or contact us, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, email address, organization, role, and any message or project details.
- Payment information. If you purchase a membership or other paid offering, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe handles card data under its own security and privacy terms.
- Usage and device data. We and our infrastructure providers may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser/device type, and pages or features used, to operate and improve the Services.
- Site-scoping queries. When you use the coordinate-scoping tool, the coordinates you enter are processed to generate a geothermal assessment.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
- To respond to your submissions, applications, and inquiries.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To curate and operate the geothermal library and directories.
- To communicate updates, and to protect the security and integrity of the Services.
Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third parties who process data on our behalf, including:
- Google Firebase (hosting, database, cloud functions, authentication).
- Stripe (payment processing).
- Google Cloud (content curation and site analysis).
These providers have access to information only as needed to perform their functions and are obligated to protect it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above, when required by law, or to protect rights and safety. Content you choose to make public (for example, a project, capability, or vendor listing you submit for the public directory) may be displayed publicly after review.
Data retention
We retain submissions and account information for as long as needed to operate the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your information as described below.

- You may unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time.

Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
